Description
This is a cross-back tank top with a sturdy, folded over, band. It has adjustable straps and is made to measure in order to fit a wide range of bodies. The cups are worked first, then the band. These are attached together and stitches are picked up to work the body of the shirt top-down. This pattern can also be used to create a bralette of the same style, shown at the bottom of the pattern.

Materials
3.5 mm needles (straight or circular or even double pointed will work)
4.5 mm 16-32 in circular needles for the body
Tapestry needle
50-100 grams of fingering or sport weight yarn (I used two strands of lace-weight wool held double)

Gauge
23x25 sts per 4 inch (10cm) square using the 3.5mm needles, or whatever size needles to meet gauge
