Hero's Shawl
This shawl draws on my math roots! The shape and design was inspired by a proof for Heron’s, also known as Hero, area formula in which a Triangle has been inscribed with a circle. But don’t let that stop you because all the math has already been done! The picot cast on creates a nice negative space at the center of the circle that knits up quickly followed by three triangles that you can personalize your wall decoration or shawl with by choosing from the 3 point sizes.
The small size uses approximately 150 yards, the medium uses approximately 450 yards and the large uses approximately 700 yards.
