These Herringbone Witching Hour Crochet Mitts were designed especially for yarns from Third Vault Yarns Echo DK yarn, but any DK weight yarn will work.

These versatile mitts are labeled as intermediate skill, but are accessible to the adventurous beginner if you watch the tutorial on the Herringbone Half-Double Crochet stitch and if you know how to crochet in the back loop of the stitch. A link to the Herringbone Half-Double Crochet stitch is included in the pattern.

Skill Level: Intermediate

What You’ll Need:

-100 grams of Third Vault Yarns’ Echo DK or equivalent. I used the colorway Witching Hour.
-H Hook (5.5mm)
-Stitch marker
-Scissors
-Yarn Needle

These mitts are written in US crochet terms, and they work up very quickly. Instructions are included for making the mitts the same size as in the photos and for making the mitts longer than shown.
