The leaf pattern at the border has the shape of the heart. The word for leaf in German is Blatt. Herz means the heart in German. So I name this shawl Herzblatt. And what is Herzblatt in English? It’s sweetheart!

This is a classical triangle lace shawl, which is knitted from neck downwards. This shawl is modular, that is, the size can be adjusted as needed.

The pattern is suitable for experienced lace knitters. There is one section called “knitted lace”, which means lace forming will be also carried out on the wrong side of the work.
