The inspiration for this bag was a rainbow of scratchy, acrylic yarn I had been gifted. The bright colors reminded me of a weekend farmers’ market, and this market bag began to take shape. The scratchy acrylic made for a durable, machine washable bag that was a great, eco-friendly option. This bag is knit in three sections. The first is the hexagon base, the second is the zig-zag mesh, and the third is a slip-stitch handle. The bag will stretch, but the handles remain stable.

You will need one skein of a worsted weight yarn. I recommend acrylic or cotton for easy care.
