Hey Ho Mittens
Hey Ho Mittens
The Hey Ho Mittens are cozy fingerless mitts featuring the characteristic Hey Ho Lace pattern. The lace pattern runs as a decorative element along the back of the hand and is framed by sections of stockinette stitch.
The mittens are knitted in the round from the bottom up. The thumb gusset is worked directly into the mitten and provides a comfortable fit.
You can choose between two versions:
Unlined – lightweight and airy, perfect for transitional weather or whenever you want to keep your fingers free.
Lined – an additional knitted layer on the inside makes these mittens especially warm and cozy. The lining is knitted directly onto the outer layer, so there is no additional seam.
Both versions are knitted in the same way through the end of the outer mitten. Only then do you decide whether to finish the mittens unlined or knit the lining directly onto the outer layer.
The pattern includes instructions for both the right and left mitten and explains the differences in knitting the respective thumb gusset in detail.
The Hey Ho Mittens are part of the Hey Ho Collection and pair beautifully with the Hey Ho Hat, Hey Ho Scarf and Hey Ho Shawl. The characteristic lace pattern connects all the designs and makes them a harmonious set.

Hey Ho Mittens
