With spring coming in sight , i thought it a good idea to let me inspire by ‘springy’ nature for a fresh and brandnew Si Sjo Sock trilogy.

Here is the second of three sock patterns - the first one is Tulips from Holland socks.

It is knitted in a special, rather easy, lacepattern that creates a texture with pointed, swirling leaves that reminded me of the hyacinth flowers when they are in full bloom.

The Hi Hyacinth sock flourishes at best, when knitted in bright colours, with gradient dyed yarn or in semi solids.
I knitted them for the presentation of this pattern also in a -more or less- colourblock version with the beautiful soft and colourful sockmini yarnkit of Manos del Uruguay Fino.

So, if you happen to own enough sockyarn scraps in your stash (gauge 28/34), the colourblock version is a very attractive option as well! For pair knitted in size 38/39 I used approximately 70 grams of sockyarn.

The pattern is written for three sizes 36/37 38/39 and 40/41

Heels are knitted in German short rows technique.

The pattern is part of an ebook that finally will contain three Spring Fever Socks patterns : Tulips from Holland Socks are already published and Dandelions will follow…

The pattern comes in a booklet that contains a lot of pictures; if you want to save paper & ink, consider printing the uneven pages only
