Hibiscus Socks is an homage to the state of Hawaii! Hubby and I used to live on Oahu and try to go back ‘home’ when we can. I started knitting these socks while on vacation on Maui where the hibiscus plants were blooming even in the winter. Available in Medium and Large width, this colorwork pattern uses 2 fingering weight yarns on 2 circular needles in a charted pattern.

Needles:
Two circular 2.75mm needles or whichever size to achieve gauge. (I used two 16” circulars)

Yarn:
Medium: One 50 gram ball of fingering weight yarn in a Main Color, and one 50 gram ball in Contrast Color.

Large: Two 50 gram balls of MC, one 50 gram ball in CC.

This pattern is suitable for intermediate sock knitters familiar with sock construction and techniques and colorwork/stranded knitting.

Aloha!
