These socks were designed to go with Jen’s awesome new colorway “Nightfury” (reminiscent of Toothless’ dragon eye in the movie “How to Train your Dragon”). I loved the brief flashes of color that this dyeing process produced and so I wanted to emphasize the color flash as much as possible without covering it up. I love this pattern because it is really easy to remember and it is a great “first sock” pattern.

For now the pattern is only available from Holiday Yarns, when you buy a skein of Nightfury yarn, you get the pattern!

This pattern works best with short flashes of color in a mainly solid skein. Some other possibilities are:
Nightfury (green/yellow color flashes)
Fomalhaut (black color flashes)
BlackJack (pink color flashes)
Goth Valentine (purple color flashes)
