Hidden hue is inspired by the suns first rays of gold that only last a minute so beautiful described in Robert Frosts poem. The double strand wool and white mohair reminds me of that hue that is hidden just underneath. The hidden hue sweater is an oversized, light, all year sweater knitted top down in double strand mohair and highland wool on needle 4mm (US #6). It is a very simple knit with a ridged offset garter stitch pattern that give a great textured effect and a lightness to the fabric. Since it it knitted top down it is easy to costum fit as it is knitted and the pattern gives 3 different sizes to ensure the sweater fit at the neck, over the shoulder and the width of the sleeves ensuring. This also gives flexibility in choosing yarn, if it is hard to get gauge simply cast on a size smaller or larger. The sweater uses between 1100 to 1925 meters - a total of 200-350 grams highland wool and mohair combined but any yarn combination can be used or the sweater can be knitted single stranded.
