When I saw this silver yarn that I bought at a fiber festival I immediately thought I would love to use it for a sock with a diamond motif. I have nested diamonds in diamonds and next to diamonds creating outlines of hidden jewels.

While this pattern is challenging, I believe those knitters who are familiar with socks and who are comfortable reading charts will enjoy this sock. After starting, the charts are fairly intuitive and you will probably not need to often refer to the chart. If you are someone who has not knit from lace charts before or who gets easily confused by charts this pattern might cause you more frustration than joy.
