I call this a Hidden Stitch Lace Sock because there is a purl stitch buried in the lace panels. The purl stitch only becomes visible when the sock is stretched on the leg and around the foot.

The lace pattern is very quickly memorized.

The pattern is written for one long circ, but if you love your dpn’s you can certainly adapt the pattern easily.

A provisional cast-on is used. You can find directions for a simple provisional cast on by clicking here.
