These mitts are knit in the round. They use over half of a skein for the main color (ribbing & reverse stockinette ridges) and under half a skein for the contrasting color (stockinette ridges). If you purchase two colors, you will have enough to make one pair of mitts. You should have enough contrasting color leftover to make a second pair of mitts using it as the main color if you would like to purchase a third skein.
