High Tea
High Tea is part of the Me’n’u E-Book which is a collection of four placemat and coaster sets.
The thought of an English High Tea, means fine china, soft colours, and pretty table-cloths.
The High Tea design is reminiscent of apple blossom, or English country gardens.
But you can jazz it up with fun, bright colours, or go colonial with creams and soft blues, have fun.
I always recommend making placemats and coasters in 100% cotton yarn, as it is harder wearing, more heat resistant, and more absorbent.
Please remember that acrylic yarns will melt if too much heat is applied, and so is not suitable for very hot plates or dishes.
These gorgeous round, designs can also be used as décor around your home, as a doily or as wall hangings, or dream catchers.
Use bright, fun colours for alfresco dining, strong, bold colours for a statement table setting, or soft delicate colours for a tea time treat.
