Highland is a very simple ribbed beanie hat. This classic style is easy and quick to knit up. It’s a great knit for a beginner/improver and is also suitable for all other abilities. This design is knitted in the round.

I designed this simply because I needed a hat for myself and after all, everyone needs a hat in their winter wardrobe.

I used J.C. Rennie’s Supersoft Lambswool which is a fine 4ply/fingering weight yarn. It’s a wonderful light and soft natural yarn that is produced in Scotland. I highly recommend using this yarn to get the same results as myself.

HAPPY KNITTING!
