Hat Construction
A simple hat with a twisted knit ribbing that continues to a Field of Flowers lacework. Then you move on to knit the beautiful thistles that are a combination of lacework and wrapped stitches. The wrapped stitches provide dimension in this knitted piece featuring the regal thistle flower, the national emblem of Scotland. The crown of the hat forms a flower at the top.
