This squishy warm hat is designed for those lovely skeins of hand dyed yarn that have too much colour variation for cables or colourwork. The cushy textured stitch adds interest while showing off the qualities of the yarn. Of course the hat is also lovely in a more subdued yarn.

Sizes: Baby, Preschooler, (Child/Adult Small, Adult Medium, Adult Large)

Circumference: Unstretched, measured above the ribbing: 14.4, 17 (19.2, 21.5, 24) inches

Yarn Requirements: Worsted weight yarn: 25, 40 (55, 75, 90) gm.

Needles: Preferred needles for working in the round size 4.0mm and 4.5mm (US 7) or size required to get gauge.

Gauge: 20 sts and 24 rows / 10cm (4 inches) over pattern stitch, blocked.
