I grew up on the west coast of Newfoundland. My family spent many Sunday afternoons exploring the Humber Valley and Gros Morne National Park. The west coast of the island is a beautiful vista of hills, valleys, and rivers. Hills and Valley was the name of my parents’ company and seemed a fitting name for this design inspired by home.

Hills and Valley Wrap
Finished dimension 23” x 70.5”

Required yarns: 3 colours of DK weight yarn with approximately 120 grams of each colour.

In my original version I chose a variegated yarn for the textured section and plain colours for the lace. However, one of my test knitters chose to use her variegated in the lace. Both versions are lovely.

Bonus
This pattern contains a bonus pattern for the Hills and Valley scarf.
A one colour, one skein version of the pattern in fingering weight yarn. For the scarf I used Fleece Artist Gros Morne colourway from their National Park series.

4 mm needle
