This bag begins with stitches cast on for the outer edge of the bag front. The stitches are worked in the round to the center front and shaped at two mitered “corners.” The remaining few stitches are bound off together. Stitches are picked up around the cast-on edge, worked straight for the width of the gusset, then the back is worked as the front. The handles are I-cord.

Finished size: About 12 “ (30.5 cm) wide, 15” (38 cm) tall, and 4½” (11 .5 cm) deep, excluding handles. Yardage requirements are for this bag using the featured yarn.

Purchased pattern, formerly available from the designer’s website, Just One More Row, included lining instructions plus a roomy shoulder bag version.
