The Hinterfolk Socks are the first pattern in Mr Stitch’s Sock Club for 2026 — a cuff-down stranded colorwork sock with an all-over geometric motif that feels rhythmic and satisfying to knit.

The design frames the pattern with the main color on the cuffs, heels, and toes, giving a tidy and intentional look from top to toe.

Construction highlights include a reinforced Eye of Partridge heel flap, a diamond gusset for gentle arch shaping, and a wedge toe.

Written and charted instructions are included, making this a friendly introduction to all-over stranded colorwork, as well as a gratifying knit for more experienced sock makers.
