This belt is a cinch to make and looks great around the hip over billowy tops, dresses, or extra-long tank tops. Have fun searching for an old bakelite buckle like this one online or at thrift shops and vintage clothing stores. Or see if you can find something cool at a craft store. If you don’t use the “suede” yarn, be sure to choose something that will hold up well, like cotton, linen, or hemp; ribbon yarn or tape yarn would be great substitutes, too.
