Pay homage to the magnificent granny square with this fun tie! I made mine using 1 skein of I Love This Cotton! Yarn in white and less than one skein each of I Love This Cotton! Yarn in red, banana, and aqua. Another yarn can be substituted as long as the gauge is maintained (the largest granny square should be 3” wide and the smallest should be 2.5” wide). You will also need a tapestry needle and several crochet hooks: B (2.25mm), C (2.75mm), D (3.25mm), E (3.5mm), and F (3.75mm).

The original pattern works best with a single Windsor knot, but instructions are also given for an alternative version that lends itself better to a double Windsor knot.
