Hipcat’s Mittens were designed for my husband, who requested “plain mittens”. I wasn’t able to find any patterns I liked for the bulky yarn I had, so I made my own. This is a great generic pattern for anybody, instructions are included for customizing to your hand/thumb length. With a lighter weight yarn and smaller needles this could also work well for children’s mittens. Enjoy!
