This fringed lattice-like hippie top gives teasing glimpses of midriff and feels soft and tickly against your skin. It combines single crochet with decorative filet crochet, which is composed of chains and doubles combined to form a lacy, net-like pattern. The top also features beautiful crochet clusters with darling fringe that gives it sway and length. The ties on the bottom and top have elongated crochet stitches, which you create by inserting a finger into a stitch to elongate it by an inch. You can alternate between regular single crochet and elongated crochet stitches, as we did, to achieve an open, chain-like effect.
