Lovable Hippo Puppet likes to show off his four impressive teeth! Knit in the round from a single strand of Mauch Chunky, he felted in a washing machine (or dryer) for sturdiness and durability. He has an operable mouth and fits up to an adult hand!

MATERIALS

Yarn A: 2 skeins Kraemer Mauch Chunky; Color: Marble; 170 yds.

Yarn B: 1 skein Kraemer Mauch Chunky; Color: Cotton Candy; 25 yards

Yarn C: 1 skein Kraemer Mauch Chunky; Color: Water Chestnut; 5 yards (you may substitute any feltable white yarn for this minimal yardage)

Needles: Size US 10.5 circular needle, Size US 10.5 double pointed needles to work in the round (or size to meet gauge), Size US 2 double pointed needles

Notions: Scissors, stitch markers, tapestry needle, pins, two 15 mm white felt balls, grey thread or laceweight yarn, black worsted weight scrap yarn, black Sharpie, fiberfill or other stuffing for shaping
