The pattern is written for magic loop, but can easily be modified for double pointed needles.

FINGERING WT YARN

Sizes

S (56 sts), M (64 sts) and L (72 sts)

Yarn

100 g of fingering weight yarn, app. 400 m/ 437 yds per 100 g. The sample socks were knitted with Schachenmayr Regia Premium Cashmere (60% Wool, 25% Nylon, 10% Cashmere) in colourway 3 Vanilla 400 m/ 437 yds per 100 g.

Needles & notions

2.75 mm/ US 2 circular needle (80 cm/ 32 inches long or longer) or size to meet the gauge markers
tapestry needle for weaving in ends

DK / WORSTED WT YARN

Sizes

S (40 sts), M (48 sts) and L (56 sts)

Yarn

100-120 g of DK/worsted weight yarn, app. 200- 250 m/ 219 -274 yds per 100 g. The sample socks were knitted with Schachenmayr Regia 6-ply (75% Wool, 25% Nylon) in colourway 1991 Light Grey (125 m/ 137 yds per 50 g)
