The pattern is written for magic loop, but can easily be modified for double pointed needles.

Yarn

100 g of fingering weight yarn, app. 420 m (440 yds)/ 100 g in two colours. You will need approximately 50 g (55-60 g) 60-70 g of MC, 50 g of CC is enough for all sizes.

The sample socks were knitted with madelinetosh Twist Light, 384 m/ 419.9 yds per 100 g in colours OOAK (MC) and Coquette Deux (CC) and used 50 g of MC and 30 g of CC.

You can substitute MC with various left overs or sock minis.

If you use only two colours, carry the unused yarn along and twist the yarns around each other every second or so rounds.
