I used a colour-changing yarn for these simple motifs from a Renaissance embroidery book. I combined a couple of decorative shapes into one overall motif and mirrored it at the center line. I liked how the colours changed through the motif, so I called this Hiwede, which means to transfigure or transform in Old English.
