Hoff Aran Cardigan is a drop-shoulder cardigan featuring classic Aran patterns.
The cardigan is worked from the top down. First the back section is worked back and forth to shape the slope of the shoulders with increases. Then stitches are picked up for each shoulder, then the front pieces are knit separately until they are joined with the back at the underarms to form the body, which is worked back and forth to the bottom ribbing. Then stitches are picked up to knit the button bands in double knitting. After this, stitches are picked up and knitted for the neckline, which are worked back and forth. Finally, the sleeves are worked, from stitches picked up around the armhole, in the round to the cuff ribbing.

Hoff Aran Cardigan is designed to have approx. 24-30 cm (9.5-11.75 inches) of positive ease at your bust.
The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL are designed to fit respectively a bust circumference about 79-84 (84-89) 89-94 (94-99) 99-104 cm (31-33 (33-35) 35-37 (37-39) 39-41 inches).
For example, if your bust circumference is 88 cm (34.75 inches), you would choose the size S. A size S cardigan has a bust circumference of 113 cm (44.5 inches) and gives you 25 cm (9.75 inches) of positive ease.

Hoff Aran Cardigan はクラシックなアラン模様をあしらったドロップショルダーのカーディガンです。
編み方は、トップダウンで編んでいきます。まず後ろ身頃の衿から、肩のラインを増し目をしながら往復編みで編み、脇下まで編み進めます。次に左右の肩を別々に拾い目をし、前衿ぐりの増し目をしながら、脇下までそれぞれ編み進めます。そして左右前身頃と後ろ身頃を1つにつなげて、身頃を往復編みで裾まで編みます。前立ては左右前身頃の端をそれぞれ拾い目をして、 ダブルニッティングで編みます。その後、衿を拾い目をして往復編みで編み、最後に袖を拾い目をして袖口まで輪に編みます。
