Hole Lotta Love!
1 x Knitting Pattern for Hole Lotta Love!
“You can’t wear a scarf in the Summer!” a very excitable Parisian waiter told me once. “Oh, but I can if it’s got lots of holes,” I replied…at least, I think that’s what I said in my rather unpractised French! And that’s exactly what inspired my Hole Lotta Love knitting pattern – a scarf with plenty of airy holes to keep you cool and stylish even on the hottest days.
This pattern consists of a simple lace stitch to create airy twisted eyelets that not only look amazing but also feel incredibly light to wear. It’s a really fun, rhythmic pattern, and while I’ve used wool and wool mix yarns for the pattern samples, you could also use a lightweight cotton or even linen for a truly summery feel.
It’s a truly relaxing project, ideal for knitters of all abilities. So whether you’re a beginner looking for a slight challenge or a more experienced knitter looking for a satisfying escape, it’s the perfect pattern to knit as you’re chilling in the garden or park, relaxing on the beach, or even lounging around at home.
Easy to style, it can be worn as a bandana scarf, a small, lightweight shawl, or even a summery wrap. But however you choose to wear it, one thing’s for sure: this is a perfect summertime accessory that can be enjoyed all year round. And once you’ve finished your first version, I’m sure you’ll be adding a few more to your wardrobe!
Happy Knitting!
