I’m always amazed at how an open fabric can provide warmth, which makes this is a perfect warm weather wrap to throw on in a chilly breeze or air conditioning. And it won’t slip off! It also makes a thoughtful gift.

No mattress stitching or any sewing -- the Three Needle Bind Off brings it together. Yay! (Step-by-step instructions for the 3NBO are included).

The wrap/poncho looks nice any way it is worn. I like the rounded portion in front, but others prefer the squared side forward or a point in front.

Many thanks to my daughter, Gina Doyle for modeling. The photos show how it fits over a size small shirt. It is very easy to add inches to the size, which will definitely require more than two balls of Windsong yarn. I only had five inches of yarn remaining from this project, which was my goal - to use the entire two balls. An indicator is included for how much yarn is required to finish if you don’t want to play Yarn Chicken. (But it’s such a thrill to win!)

The size 15 needle is only used for the Three Needle Bind Off. Both Cast On and Bind Off instructions are included.

Enjoy this quick and rhythmic pattern. You might want to repeat in different colors, yarn types, as well as for gifts! I would love to see your finished projects posted on Ravelry.

Knit on!
