Always use a needle and hook size that will result in the correct gauge.

Notions: 2 stitch markers (at least 1 should be a locking stitch marker), scrap yarn or string, large safety pins, clear
packing tape (to seal the ends of the rope), 1 pair of 1.25 cm

Notes: The bottom of the basket is crocheted as a spiral in
the round. The body of the basket is knit in 4 pieces – 2 side
panels and 2 front/back panels. All 4 pieces are joined by a
cast off and then seamed along the sides from the top down
with a modified mattress stitch to create a round basket
body. The body is then seamed to the bottom.
