Nothing too original here – just a sleek, simple tunic with classic lines. The daring can wear this as a mini-dress; on the rest of us, it will look elegant over wide-leg or skinny pants. The understated design was originally intended as a foil for a chunky, dramatic necklace – in this version I’ve used it to show off a vintage pin, to be replaced by a beautiful button when I find one which is ‘just right’. As an alternative you could join the neckband with a simple grafted seam, or keep knitting and leave generous ends to tie in a bow at the neck; or left shoulder; or even in the back.
