This large holly-leaf ornament is designed to be “pointier” than most holly-leaf patterns! There are no rough edges to the leaves, just a straight seam up the back.

Stitches used: kfb, kfbf (knit into front, back then front again), kfbfb (knit into front, back, front and back), k2tog, k4tog

You will need:

· Wool in red (10g), green (30g) and a lighter green for embroidery (5g). I used Double Knit (8-6 ply, “light worsted”.) Tension: 10cm x 10cm square is 24 stitches across and 32 rows.

· Knitting needles. I used UK size 11 (3.0mm, US size 2.5)

· Tapestry needle

· Stuffing
