Holly is a chunky, oversized sweater worked in stockinette stitch. It features elongated ribbed
cuffs on the sleeves and hem, giving the sweater personality. The construction is simple,
making it accessible for knitters of all levels while including most common techniques. The
sweater requires no seaming.

Holly is worked top-down with a double strand of yarn.
First, the back is knitted using German Short Rows (GSR) for shoulder shaping. Stitches for
the fronts are then picked up from the back and worked separately to shape the neckline
before being joined into one piece.
The fronts and back are joined to form the body and worked in the round. The sleeves and
neckband are picked up from the armholes and neck edges and worked in the round.

Garment measurements
Bust circumference: 130 cm (141 cm) 153 cm
Total length (measured at centre back from neck edge): 62 cm (65 cm) 68 cm
Sleeve length: 40 cm (42 cm) 44 cm

Intended fit
Recommended bust: 80–90 (90–100) 100–110 cm
The sweater is designed with an oversized fit. A positive ease of 40–50 cm is recommended.
The generous width means it can also suit larger bust measurements than suggested.
My own measurements: 90 cm bust, 164 cm height. Photos of me wearing the different sizes
are included for reference.
