Hollyhock Socks are single-color socks knit from the toe up, with a lace pattern that rises in vertical lines along the foot and leg.

There are no short rows. Increases shape the gusset and the base of the heel, and decreases shape the back of the heel.
The front of the leg continues the lace pattern from the foot, and four lace lines run up the back of the leg. Knit the leg to the length you like.

Hollyhock is a tall flower that blooms in early summer, opening one blossom after another from the bottom of the stem to the top. Worked from the toe up, the lace pattern seems to bloom upward from your feet – that is where the name comes from.

• Measure your foot about 1 cm away from the base of the toes. We recommend choosing a size slightly smaller than your actual measurement.
• A foot length of about 90% of your actual foot length fits best.

このパターンはつま先から編み始め、甲から脚にかけて縦に模様が連なる単色の靴下です。
「引き返し編み」をしない、シンプルな編み方です。
増し目をしながらマチを作ってかかと底を編み、かかと後ろは「減目」をしながら仕上げます。
脚の前側は足周りから続く模様編み、脚の後ろ側には模様を4本入れて、お好みの長さで仕上げられます。
Hollyhock（ホリーホック）は、タチアオイのこと。梅雨のころ、茎の下から上へ順番に花を咲かせていく花です。
つま先から編み始めて、縦の模様が足もとから上へ咲き上がっていくように。そんな思いをこめて名前をつけました。
