The Homebody Socks are the 3rd of 6 secret patterns in the Knitvent 2019 collection

Excitement and novelty are all very well, but the life of a homebody certainly has its advantages. You don’t have to be a hermit to appreciate the happiness of a good day spent in your own company and in your natural habitat. Waking up in your own bed surrounded by your own things, brewing your favourite tea in your favourite mug, knowing just when the patch of sunlight falls across your cosy knitting nook: these are small but precious joys that the world’s fanciest hotels struggle to reproduce.

The Homebody Socks are a cuddly, squishy, at-home pair of socks to keep your toes toasty on leisurely, lazy days. If you must go out, they also make a warm and sturdy pair of boot socks. They are knit in DK weight yarn, which means they’re very quick to knit. Featuring ribbing and a sweet-but-simple mock cable stitch pattern and finished with a heel flap and gusset, the pattern includes four sizes and should help you easily cross a few names off your gift list. Just don’t forget to make a pair for yourself to wear around the house!
