When autumn comes around, I look forward to bringing out the comfy sweaters, drinking hot apple cider, and attending high school football games. While autumn nights can get chilly, sometimes the weather only requires a light covering to keep your hands warm. The Homecoming Fingerless Mitts are a great in-between wardrobe staple; small enough to toss into a handbag or to stash in your glove compartment.

I love wearing fingerless mitts at the office when the heat is less than effective or when the air conditioning is working too well!

These mittens would be fun to knit up in school colors and make quick gifts for friends and family members!

These mitts were designed to have at least 1/2” (1.25 cm) of positive ease. If you prefer to have snug-fitting mitts, be sure to knit one size smaller.
