Homecoming when I grew up meant jeans, turtlenecks, hiking boots and football. This was of course when dinosaurs roamed the earth. Homecoming now is a formal dance in a slinky dress. So here is a slinky poncho to cover up those cool shoulders on a cool night. Alternating the stockinet stitches makes the shine break up and glimmer more from the silvered yarn. P. S. If you don’t sew it together it makes a beautiful shawl.
