A Few Tips:
When working the braid, your yarn is going to get twisted. Every so often,
stop and untwist. Trust me, it’s a hot mess if you don’t.
When changing colors, don’t pull the yarn tight. Instead spread the stitches
on the right needle apart a bit. This will help keep the tension loose for the
color work floats.
Before blocking your headband it may look lumpy and the braid might curl
up. If this happens, lightly block the hat and pin the edges down. They will
smooth out when it’s dry.
