This knitting pattern is for an easy to knit cape or poncho that can also be worn as a hood.

Basic knitting skills are needed to knit this cape and you will also need to know how to join and knit in the round on circular knitting needles. Size US 10.5 circular knitting needles are used and 2 skeins of Homespun Yarn from Lion are required to make this cape - poncho. Stitches used in the pattern are knit, purl and knitting increases. You will also need a couple of stitch markers to mark places in the knitting.

This is a quick and easy poncho to make. It can be worn a variety of ways - even as a hood for warmth when out in the cold. This pattern is one size and is approx. 27 in. around at the neckline, 58 in. around the bottom and has a length of 16 in. The stitch used and the yarn make this item quite stretchy.
