The Honduras Baby Blanket is designed for comfort in every sense of the word. It is made with one solid color yarn and one variegated yarn.

For this pattern, I used two skeins of Bernat Baby Blanket yarn in Baby Blue-Green (Color A/variegated yarn) and less than one skein of Bernat Baby Blanket yarn in Misty Jungle Green (Color B/solid yarn). Additional materials used are scissors to cut yarn and a crochet tapestry needle to weave in ends.

The finished blanket is approximately 34x46”.

This pattern uses a form of color pooling to achieve the checked color pattern seen in the photo. This is done using the variegated yarn and is described in more detail in the pattern. However, this method can be omitted and the pattern can still be followed as written, and it can come out just as beautiful!
