This is a quick and easy pattern, perfect for beginning knitters wanting a simple cowl project and those further along wanting to use super bulky yarn in their stash. This makes a great winter cowl. Let hanging down, it makes for a good buffer against the wind. It can be wrapped around the neck once for a more snug and warmer fit. This project can be easily finished in one night.
A simple pattern that still provides a nice texture that is sure to impress.

Please note that the cowl is named for the look, not the actual stitch (as there is a stitch pattern called the honey comb stitch). The texture is created between different combinations of the knit and purl stitches only!

To adjust circumference, the pattern is in multiples of four. You can easily make this cowl as thin or as thick as you like.
