Honey Drudger is borrowed from a poem in Sylvia Plath’s Bee series. There are some parallels between the work of bees and the work we knitters perform. We all produce brilliant geometry. Our cozy worlds are made of little interlocking pieces. We keep our larva snug. I highly recommend taking a moment with Plath’s Stings from her masterwork Ariel.

This hat combines two fun colors in an original stitch pattern whose color changes involve holding only one strand at a time.

Errata: row 8 stitch pattern should read slip 1, not 2
