The Honeycomb Bee Cozy is great for putting around all those cold drinks this summer, it works up quickly and is a great stash busting project too; the whole project used less than 15g of yarn.

This pattern is worked in the round one of my favourite stitches, the Tunisian Honeycomb Stitch and the colours I chose to use colours that reminded me of honey in a bee hive, amber for the top and yellow for the background.  The bee motives are made separately and sewn onto the cozy.

My finished cozy measures 7cm high and 12cm wide (24cm round in total) and this fits my reusable coffee mug (which works for cold drinks too), it also fits nicely around a 750ml or 1ltr bottle too.   If you want to adapt the size then you can either plus or minus the starting ch, just remember to always make sure it is an odd number in the chain.   You can also add more rows if you want to make it taller too.
