The word “home” signifies so many things in my mind. Winter fires, family holiday dinners, Christmas parties, and lots of love and laughter. Honeycomb Sweet Home hat and cowl is a squishy, warm combo that alternates two highly contrasting DK weight yarns. Slipped and twisted stitches knit in a striped fashion create the interesting diamond shaped honeycombs. No cable needle is needed! With only two DK skeins (minimum 230 yds/100 gm), one can knit EITHER two hats, or a hat and a cowl. There are directions for a slouchy, female hat as well as a more fitted, male hat. A chart as well as written instructions is provided. A big, poofy pom pom is the perfect topper to this hat. I recommend jessgasyarncafe.etsy.com.
