The Honeyloop Cardigan

The Honeyloop Cardigan is a top-down knitted cardigan. You start off by casting on the back panel and knit until you reach the length of the underarms. These stiches are then put on hold. You then pick up the stitches for a front panel and shape the front collar, knitting to the same length as the back panel. You then repeat for the other front panel and join all these panels together to knit the body as one piece. Once the body is knitted, you pick up arm stitches and knit these in the round. Ribbing for the collar and front ribbing is then added with optional buttonholes. The pattern features 2 lace patterns to create a pointelle effect. This pattern is suitable for intermediate knitters.

The lace charts are given in a separate document for ease of use to be downloaded alongside this written pattern. These are ordered by size. You can refer to the contents page for specific chart locations.
