Honeymoon in Dublin is a light infinity scarf made with various stitches and knitting techniques. Cute eyelet stitch and reverse stockinette are framed by i-cord edging on one side and romantic cable on the other.

Let’s be honest, I haven’t been to Dublin, yet. But two of my closest friends went to Ireland for their honeymoon and one of the gifts they brought me was this perfectly mustard-yellow skein of Donegal. I fell in love with the texture and also the story this skein now carries - the memory of a place I’ve never been to, but connected to such a big event in my friend’s life. To make this yarn even more special I decided to design a pattern for it, using all my favourite stitches and make it into a versatile accessory I’d be able to wear with most of my wardrobe.

We all probably have this one special skein in our yarn stash, connected to memories or places. I hope this pattern could be the one giving yours a shape and would help to transform it into your new favourite ‘’knit with a story’’.
