The front of the Honeysuckle Tee presents ease and simplicity, but the back is what steals the show. As the back section is worked, extra stitches are added to make a stockinette section which is pleated over the lace section at the shoulders to create a lace reveal.

Yarn Brooklyn Tweed Vale (100% American Rambouillet wool; 450 yd / 1.75 oz): vernal, 3 (4, 4, 4, 5) skeins.

Needles Size 2.5 (3 mm): 16” and 24”circular. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers; 2 spare circular needles in same size or smaller; stitch holders; tapestry needle.

Notes The body of this tee is worked in the round from the lower edge to the underarm, then the upper front and back are worked separately back and forth. As the back section is worked, extra stitches are added to make a stockinette-stitch section which is pleated over the lace section at the upper back to create a lace reveal. The tee is finished with seed-stitch borders at the neckband and armholes.
