Honeywing
Named for the pollen-colored lace feather pattern, this lovely crescent shawl is perfect for all seasons. A fairly quick-knit project, it is shaped without using short rows, and it includes a picot bind off.

This intermediate level design can be made using any gauge or yarn weight - just work until you are happy with the size (be sure to adjust your yarn requirements accordingly). It’s knitted from the top down beginning with a garter stitch tab, an adjustable stockinette section, and a lace section that is worked either from charts or the full written instructions. Note: a row counter is very helpful for this pattern.

Honeywing is also available in my ebook The HoneywingTrio, which includes two other shawl patterns – Nocturnal Bees and Belign.
